As part of the preparatory work for the seismic campaign on the Fiume Tellaro permit in Sicily, Maurel & Prom Italia has joined the Departments of Biology, Geology, Environmental Sciences and Archeology of the University of Catania to further study the geological and archaeological characteristics of the region. The results of this study, jointly conducted by M&P Italia and University of Catania’s teams, will serve to better define the scope of operations and to enrich the scientific knowledge of the region.
