M&P’s Commitment and Support for Relief Operations in Venezuela

Following the earthquakes that recently struck Venezuela, Maurel & Prom expresses its deepest solidarity with the affected communities and extends its heartfelt condolences to the families of the victims, as well as to everyone impacted by this tragedy.

From the very first hours, the Company mobilized to provide concrete support to relief operations by deploying human, logistical, and operational resources in the affected areas. This support includes:

• Supporting rescue teams through the deployment of rescue personnel, as well as the provision of transportation and technical assistance to facilitate search and rescue operations.

• Hiring and deploying heavy construction equipment to assist with debris removal in the areas most severely affected.

• The commitment of our employees through a volunteer initiative aimed at organizing donation drives and supporting collection centers and local solidarity initiatives.

• Close coordination with local authorities and several diplomatic missions to ensure that available resources are directed to the populations and areas most severely affected.

The safety and protection of the Venezuelan population, as well as those of our employees and their families, remain the Group's highest priority.
